Our Evolution in Pictures

When we moved in our house, one of the first things I noticed was a huge wall between the entry way and the piano room. I immediately knew that I wanted to do a collage of pictures in black and white of us and our families.

Originally all the photos were engagement photos because we didn't have our wedding photos back yet.

Then I started incorporating some wedding photos.

Later on, I added our 1-year anniversary/new home photos that we had taken by Josh Malahy.

And just this weekend, I added some of our Christmas photos from this year.

I love that the photos keep rotating and tell our story. Eventually, (hopefully), we'll have kids' pictures to add and may have to invest in another set of frames.

I've done the same thing up our stairwell but used bigger frames and bigger pictures. It's the first thing people comment on when they come to our house.

Gallery walls are my favorite! Ours has all matching frames, but I've seen a couple lately that had a bunch of mis-matching frames so I think I might try that out soon.
