Day 4, level 2 of 30 Day Shred

First of  all, the news that I'm most happy about is the medicine that I've been taking is working! My lab results this week showed my hormones are within normal limits now. Praise the Lord. We'll see what happens from here.

Next on my happy list...happy birthday to Lieutenant Dan! Two years ago this handsome guy was going to be put down at the shelter, but now he's a rowdy, rambunctious little guy that I love to pieces. I might have to go to Three Dog Bakery and get him a pupcake.

I coordinated an event last night at the running store I work for. The event went really well, and I think everyone had a lot of fun! I may have hinted a lot to the husband that I really wanted this Billy Moore painting for my office that was being sold at the event. Well, I heard someone say it sold, and then they pulled it from the floor. Luckily, I know Billy and figured I would ask him to paint another one later. Turns out my sneaky husband bought it for me!

The picture doesn't do it justice. I just love it. The fact that St. Jude was my first (and second) full marathon makes it so special. I can relive running through the campus just looking at this painting. Can't wait to get it hung in my office!

In other happy news, Bachelor Sean is coming to Memphis next Friday for the Southern Women's Show! A few girlfriends and I already have plans to go. I can't wait to see him and hopefully snap a picture with him :)

 And lastly, the husband bid on and won a stay in Tunica and dinner several months ago at a silent auction. We kind of forgot about it until the other day, so I booked the room and dinner for us tonight. Looking forward to a little getaway!
